The third annual Dorset plane pull took place on Monday 29th August in aid of John Thornton's young achievers foundation and Motor Neurone Disease Association.

Bournemouth air cadets entered a team of 16 into the event and managed to pull the 35,000kg Boeing 737, 50 meters in a respectable 1 minute 10 seconds. We didn't beating last year’s time of 54 seconds but there was a full team of 20 then. The fastest time recorded during the day was an impressive 31 seconds by the Bournemouth red arrows association team.

It wasn't just the plane pull going on during the day. There was also live music, a hog roast and two bouncy castles!

In the end Bournemouth air cadets raised an impressive £400, £116 of which was raised by CI Wade-Arnold.
